New Design String Hairband

I made some new design hairband, somewhat modified from the first version string headband.
For me headband or hairband is the same to me =P. So don't be confuse when I interchange the usage. I'm refering to the same thing ;). I've used a different type of yarn (thicker) & a bit different design. Here's the new design hairband:

Used the vintage plastic flower button for the fastener.
Adjustable string hairband & a bit stretchable.
How the hairband look like while fastened =) These will be also at the bazaar.

The Continuity of the Pom Pom Craze - Snapclips

Yup I haven't really stop making pom pom after I've made a few sizes of my own template =P. Well these are smaller version pom poms (~3cm) that I've made with a smaller template. Surprisingly with my own template the pom pom do not have a nice round shape but they are more like oval shape after trimming (Same goes to the Gigantic 5cm pom pom on the hairtie). Thought of trimming until it is round but then I thought it will be slightly different compare to normal round pom pom (I like different :)) so I can have it as my style =).  I put these little cutie 'not so round pom pom' on snapclips. So here's the result:

What do you think about this new pom pom hairclips? Going to put them in the bazaar booth later =)

Crazy about Pom Pom - Hairtie

Lately I'm too crazy about pom poms. I do not know why but then it's just fun to see the fluffiness of the pompom after trimming them. I've used my own DIY template to make them. It turned out not so round but I just let it be. Anyway I did a bunch of pom poms for hairtie last week which I will be selling at the bazaar on the 1st of August. Here's the pom pom hairtie:

My gigantic (~5cm) Pom pom hairtie =)

F'dyHana + Pompom Photo Frame

The pom pom in my sneak peak in the previous post goes to this flower photo frame that I've made for my dear friend Amal's wedding gift. She just got hitched last Saturday & the wedding was so beautiful! Here's the photo frame I've made for the newly wed Amal & Khairi:

I've put in the photos that I've shot during her engagement last year. I just lay out the flower & pompoms on a piece of corru board covered with felt and glue it on a plain photo frame.
Hope that both of them will like it. God bless both of them!

First attempt on crochet wire

Last week I've stumbled upon some craft copper wires in a sewing shop. I bought some electric blue colour copper wire just to try the wire crochet which I wanted to try recently. I tried to make a bracelet using the wire + bugle beads with a simply pattern that I just made it up myself. So here's the outcome:

I've used the crochet with beads technique that I've used with my yarn  bracelet. Didn't really know how to end the wire so I just twisted it into clumps to make a ball for the fastener. I think I need more practice to make the loop more nicer =)

MFK First Name Card

The making of MFK's name card was pending quite sometime without any specific reason. Maybe I just don't have the right mood to design it yet until last Sunday. I managed to design, print & cut around 200 cards but haven't manage to finish stamping at the back side of the card. Here's the new MFK name card:

Front with logo, blog add, name & email. Back is stamped with 2 colours using my rubber stamp.
What do you think?

MFK First Bazaar Debut Soon!

I'm so excited that my friend Nastassia has booked a booth for us in The Threadszoo Sweatfest @ KLCA organized by Treadszoo Bazaar. It's actually a sport carnival (cricket skill competition, clinics on rugby, hocky-golf, telematches and paintballs) but there are also a shopping bazaar & mini concerts.

We will be sharing the booth to sell my handmade accessories & her ready-made trinkets. We will be there for a day which is on the 1st of August (Sunday) from 11am to 5pm at The Selangor Club, Bukit Kiara. Hope that you guys can come & drop by at our booth later =).

Hmmm need to work very hard on making stocks for the bazaar & also think on how to set up the booth for my crafts. Excited plus nervous! Very! XD
Any ideas on which MFK product is the best thing to sale & booth setup? Any experience that you can share?

Sneak Peak for July

Here's a sneak peak of my work now :

It's something to do with pompoms =). Will post it after completed.

F'dyHana Rose on Hairclips

My friend ordered some Rose Hairclips & Brooches for her daughter & friends. Actually this is my first order for hairclips. For this order I've used snapclips covered with felt. Here's the Rose hairclips & brooches:

The hairclips & brooches. For the hairclips, in addition I add some leaves & sew all the roses on the covered snapclips. So no glue are used =).
What do you think about my first Rose hairclips?

As I just completed my new MFK label, I used them for all the hairclips & brooches.
How do they look on the new label?

MFK new product label

This is one of my pending project until last weekend. I've designed the graphic for quite sometime but didn't had time to really design it as labels. Yesterday I managed to make 3 types of label using the design:
  • Rectangle label for brooch, hairclip etc;
  • 'I' shape label for hairtie etc;
  • Tag label for beanie, bracelet, headband etc.
Here's the new MFK new product labels:

All cut & ready to use =). Even tried them with my hairtie & hairclip.

Close up of my bubble gum colour design with logo & web address.
What do you think? =)
